Survivors LEAD
Learn, Engage, Advocate & Develop
Launching in 2021

Survivors LEAD trains survivors to be community leaders among their fellow survivors. Survivor Alliance promotes a collective, co-production model of leadership, which values everyone's unique skills and talents. Leadership does not have to be flashy or individualistic.

Our leadership program involves:
- Learning about survivors' rights and the social systems of care
- Outreaching to people and getting to know one's local survivor community
- Developing relationships with charities, local authorities, and business leaders
- Building a strong network of survivors that provide valuable peer support
- Engaging in online, self-directed learning with Survivor Alliance's unique and novel leadership training curriculum
- Learning by doing: participating in workshops and events by other anti-slavery organisations
- Self-reflection and self-care
